Fire Protection of Rolling Stock 2025

FirePro participated in the 22nd Annual Fire Protection of Rolling Stock (FPRS) Conference, held on February 25 - 26, 2025, in Vienna, Austria. 

As one of the premier global events in the railway industry, FPRS provided a platform to engage with potential partners, clients, and key industry stakeholders. The event facilitated discussions on the latest fire safety trends and fostered new collaborations aimed at advancing fire protection technologies in the rolling stock sector. FirePro was proud to contribute to this collective mission of enhancing fire safety within the railway sector. 

Representing FirePro at the event were Commercial Director, Demetris Constantinou, and Regional Business Development Manager, Nicolaos Frangos. They showcased FirePro’s product line, highlighting its certifications, technical advantages, and proven effectiveness in protecting critical areas of rolling stock and railway infrastructure.  

A notable highlight was Demetris Constantinou presentation, titled “Large-Scale Li-Ion Battery Fire Tests Using FirePro”. His session provided in-depth insights into the complexities of managing lithium-ion batteries fires, an increasingly critical issue as railways incorporate more advanced energy storage solutions.
